Quality Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:   Quality Manager assures all deliverable company products are produced in accordance with established company and customer requirements. Develop and refine processes to continuously improve product quality and cost-effectiveness of the quality system. Provide management visibility on the effectiveness of the quality system and facilitate corrective/improvement actions, as required.   PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  Interface with the Plant Manager and other senior managers to obtain full understanding of company culture, values, business issues, problems and opportunities. Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and quality assurance staff to define specific problems and develop solutions. Function as a manager to develop the strategic quality assurance plan including objectives, action plans, and specific accountabilities for execution of the plan. Establish policies and direct implementation of the Quality Assurance function in all aspects of the company's product cycle from initial quality in design through post-delivery. Develop the Quality Assurance organization by assuring adequate training and education resources are available to develop required skills and enable professional growth opportunities for Quality Assurance personnel. Monitor overall Quality Assurance performance: Interface with external and internal customers to establish quality requirements and measure/improve performance accordingly. Continuously monitor all Quality Metrics to detect unfavorable variations that require immediate attention. Direct resources and priorities in support of the development and implementation of quality technologies to assure specific courses of development are directly applicable to the company's lines of business. Improve and adapt the overall Quality Assurance system to satisfy the organizational requirements to support implementation of AS 9100 system requirements. Lead and manage implementation of new Quality Assurance Information Systems to replace old, outmoded legacy systems.   NATURE AND SCOPE: A significant challenge relative to this position's accountability is to ensure external customer quality requirements are fully integrated into TECT Aerospace's management systems where they are precisely adapted to meet a particular situation, need, or circumstance.        Fully accountable for managing departmental employees to TECT Aerospace company standards for continued employment. Changes to company policies require executive leadership approval. Revisions to Quality System procedures are the responsibility of the Quality Manager. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  B.S. Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Ten to fifteen years of progressive quality management experience with a large, advanced technology aerospace manufacturer. Thorough knowledge of applicable quality specifications relating to design, manufacturing and testing of aerospace products. Significant experience in the development and utilization of quality metrics in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a quality assurance department of 30+ quality professionals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
